This is also another looong overdue entry. I think it was last month when we decided to take time off and go for a quick weekend vacation , just to get away from the busy life in London. We went to Canterbury and Oxford which are not that far from London, about 1-2 hours drive.
Me and my wife love travelling and we like to go to country side areas, islands, beaches, basically any places that can take us away from the hectic and fast-paced big city or urban life. We spent a night in Canterbury where we stayed in a lovely farm lodge. It was wonderful and we love the hospitality there. The surrounding is very scenic, calm and peaceful, just perfect for relaxation. Then, we went for a day trip to Oxford. It's like any other typical European historical city, surrounded by beautiful landscape and aesthetic buildings. Hope you enjoy the pictures..
